Mouse Sensitivity Converter

Choose the game you play now and the game you are moving to, then enter your sensitivity and mouse DPI. The converted value gives the same physical mouse movement for a full turn.

Result

Valorant sensitivity
0.6286
Distance for a 360° turn
25.98 cm
Distance for a 360° turn in inches
10.23 in
eDPI in Counter-Strike 2 / CS:GO
1,600
eDPI in Valorant
502.9

The conversion matches horizontal turn distance at the default field of view. Scoped sensitivity and field of view settings are separate.

Formula

  • New sensitivity = old sensitivity × old yaw × old DPI ÷ (new yaw × new DPI)
  • cm per 360° = 360 ÷ (yaw × sensitivity × DPI) × 2.54
  • eDPI = sensitivity × DPI
  • Yaw per count: CS2 and Apex 0.022°, Valorant 0.07°, Overwatch 2 and Call of Duty 0.0066°

How the Mouse Sensitivity Converter works

Each game multiplies mouse movement by its own constant, called yaw: the degrees the view turns for one count from the mouse at a sensitivity of 1. Keeping yaw × sensitivity × DPI the same in two games keeps the physical distance for a full turn the same.

eDPI, or effective DPI, is sensitivity times DPI. It lets you compare settings within one game across different mice. The distance for a 360 degree turn is the measure that compares across games.

Worked example

CS2 sensitivity 2.0 at 800 DPI: one full turn takes 360 ÷ (0.022 × 2 × 800) = 10.23 inches, or 25.98 cm. The same feel in Valorant is 2.0 × 0.022 ÷ 0.07 = 0.6286.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert CS2 sensitivity to Valorant?

Divide by 3.18. The exact factor is 0.07 ÷ 0.022 = 3.1818. To go from Valorant to CS2, multiply by 3.18.

What is a good eDPI?

It is a matter of preference. Many competitive Valorant players use an eDPI of roughly 200 to 400, and many CS2 players use about 600 to 1,200.

How do I convert Overwatch sensitivity to CS2?

Multiply by 0.3. The yaw values are 0.0066 and 0.022, so the factor is 0.0066 ÷ 0.022.
